Corrections

When we make a material correction on TickerGrove, we publish a visible correction note and preserve the article’s update history.

This page explains how we review and disclose a material correction.

How a correction is handled

  1. Report the issueSend the page URL, the line or claim, and why it may be wrong.
  2. Verify against the primary sourceWe reopen the document of record before changing the published line.
  3. Correct or update the storyThe replacement or removal is written in the open, not as a silent edit.
  4. Publish the correction noteA second editor checks the note. The original date stays attached.

Source labels stay with the story

A source-checked label means the material claim was tied to a named primary source. If the check is incomplete, the claim is marked as still being verified or is taken down until it can be supported.
