What we count

When visit counting is on, we record the page that was opened, the previous page if there was one, and a coarse region and device type. We do not build a profile of you, and we do not store an advertising ID of our own. Searching a ticker, opening a Company File, using Compare, changing a local watchlist, or clicking a newsletter prompt may be counted the same way — as anonymous events, not as an account.

Do you show ads?

TickerGrove identifies its Google advertising account for website verification and publishes a public ads.txt record. Verification does not load Google advertising code or make advertising requests from your browser. We do not place ads on this site.

Partner links

Some resource pages include optional partner links. TickerGrove may earn a commission if you use one. See the affiliate disclosure. Chart widgets on this site, when shown, do not include partner tracking.

What stays in your browser

A watchlist, if you use one, is stored only on this device. It is not an account, it is not synced, and it is not emailed to us.

Recently viewed company files also stay in this browser. The list is not sent to TickerGrove or synced between devices. Use Clear beside Recently viewed to remove it.

Coverage interest

We may count how often tickers are searched or opened, as anonymous totals, to help choose what to cover. Those counts never include your name. Discord coverage requests, when the community is open, are counted the same way: ticker and count only. Private messages are not used.

Discord

The official community, when it is open, is hosted by Discord. Discord’s privacy policy and terms apply there. Do not post bank or brokerage details, positions, or other sensitive financial data in the server.

Newsletter

If you subscribe to the Morning Brief, beehiiv stores that email address for the list, welcome email, and unsubscribe. TickerGrove does not keep a second copy of the list.
