Knightscope, Inc. (Nasdaq: KSCP) said on October 20, 2026 that consolidated revenue for the third quarter ended September 30 was approximately $8.7 million, up 177% from $3.1 million a year earlier. Revenue for the first nine months of 2026 was approximately $23.7 million, up 170% from $8.8 million, and the company said the quarter was its third consecutive with triple-digit year-over-year growth.

The document is Exhibit 99.1 to a Form 8-K dated October 20, 2026, and it carries one financial line. Knightscope described the revenue figure as preliminary, unaudited and subject to its quarter-end closing procedures, an estimate management prepared that its independent registered public accounting firm has not audited or reviewed. It also said the quarter's other results — gross margin, operating expenses, net loss and cash — are still under review and are not addressed in the release.

That silence is the main limit on what the growth rate means. A 177% increase in revenue says nothing yet about whether the added volume carried a margin, what it cost to sell, or how much cash the quarter consumed. Those lines arrive with the full results, which the company said it will schedule before the end of October 2026.

A bookings record that is not yet revenue

Alongside revenue, Knightscope reported a corporate record of approximately $27 million in renewals, bookings, and client awards since May 2026. That is a commercial-activity measure rather than revenue recognized in the quarter: the release does not split the total across the three categories, does not say how much has been billed, and gives no conversion schedule. It is a demand signal, not forward revenue, and nothing in the document maps it to a future period.

William Santana Li, the chairman and chief executive, tied the quarter to the product launch. "The third quarter is when the Autonomous Security Force moved from strategy to debut, and revenue more than doubled year over year while we did it," he said. He added that the company "officially launched the Autonomous Security Force at GSX 2026 in front of the largest gathering of security leaders in the country".

A debut, a $15.0 million first half and two October dates

Knightscope sells the Autonomous Security Force as a managed service, pairing its machines and software with licensed security agents under one contract. The nine-month disclosure also makes the first half of 2026 visible by subtraction: approximately $23.7 million for the nine months less approximately $8.7 million for the third quarter leaves approximately $15.0 million for the first two quarters.

The next checkpoints are dated. Knightscope said it expects to announce the date of its third-quarter earnings release and conference call before the end of October 2026, the event that will carry the gross margin, net loss and cash figures this document omits. Li is also scheduled to present on Wednesday, October 21, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. PT on Track 2 of the LD Micro 20th Annual Main Event at the Luxe Sunset Blvd Hotel in Los Angeles, with a livestream and a replay posted on ldmicroevents.com.
