Huntington Bancshares will pay a $0.155 per share quarterly common dividend on January 4, 2027, unchanged from the prior quarter, and raised the quarterly payout on its floating-rate Series B preferred to $17.51025352 per share from $16.78632394 per share.

A flat common dividend and a higher floating preferred payout

Huntington Bancshares declared a quarterly common dividend of $0.155 per share on October 22, the same amount as its July declaration, payable January 4, 2027 to shareholders of record on December 18, 2026. Four payments at that rate come to $0.62 a share over a year. Both the October and July releases describe the common rate as unchanged from the prior quarter, so the board has held the same common payout through two consecutive declarations.

The one preferred payout that moved is the floating-rate Series B. Its quarterly dividend is $17.51025352 per share, or $0.4377563 per depositary receipt share, against $16.78632394 and $0.4196581 in the July declaration, a 4.31% sequential increase. As is typical for a floating-rate series, its quarterly amount resets off a reference rate; the release does not state the basis for this quarter's figure.

The six fixed-rate series pay exactly what they paid in July: $1,406.25 per share on Series F, $1,112.50 on Series G, $11.25 on Series H, $17.19 on Series J, $1,562.50 on Series K and $343.75 on Series L. Depositary holders collect the matching fraction, at $14.0625, $11.1250, $0.28125, $0.42975, $15.625 and $0.34375 respectively for those same six series.

A $288 billion balance sheet and a separate results filing

The declaration's only balance-sheet datapoint sits in the company description, which calls Huntington “a $288 billion asset regional bank holding company”. The same sentence in the July release put the figure at $284 billion, so on the company's rounded description the described asset base grew by roughly four billion dollars, or about 1.4%, sequentially from the July 23 declaration. No income statement, capital ratio, credit metric or outlook appears anywhere in the document; it is Item 8.01 other-events disclosure attached to a Form 8-K accepted on October 22.

A second Form 8-K filed the same day carried the third-quarter results under Item 2.02. Readers who want the quarter's earnings figures need that filing; this one answers only the payout question, and it says nothing about buybacks, dividend policy targets or payout ratios.

Record dates, payment dates and the next declaration

Common holders of record on December 18, 2026 collect on January 4, 2027. Series B and the five fixed-rate reset series — F, G, H, J and K — share a record date of January 1, 2027 and a payment date of January 15, 2027. Series L runs on its own schedule, paid February 19, 2027 to holders of record on February 4, 2027.

For anyone tracking when the cash arrives, the common payment and the seven preferred payments all fall by February 19, 2027, with the Series L payout landing five weeks after the January 15 preferred date.

Huntington paired this declaration with a results filing on October 22, as it did on July 23, and both dividend releases were Item 8.01 filings. If that cadence holds, the next common declaration would come with January results; no date for that appears in either of these documents.
