Foxconn posts record August revenue as sales rise nearly 52%

Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., Ltd., the electronics manufacturer known as Foxconn, reported record August revenue of NT$921.8 billion, up 51.98% from a year earlier. Cloud and Networking Products led the company's ranking of product categories by year-over-year growth, putting its cloud business at the forefront of the August expansion as the company cited continued growth in AI demand in its outlook.

Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., Ltd. (TWSE: 2317), also known as Foxconn and Hon Hai Technology Group, reported unaudited consolidated revenue of NT$921.77 billion for August 2026 in its September 5 announcement. The total was the highest for August in company history and its second-highest single-month revenue. The previous August record was NT$606.5 billion in 2025.

Revenue increased 51.98% year over year but declined 2.61% from July. August was the second consecutive month above NT$900 billion, following July revenue of NT$946.51 billion.

Cloud and Networking Products ranked first in the company's August year-over-year product growth ranking, followed by Smart Consumer Electronics, Components and Other Products, and Computing Products. That ranking identifies the leading category for growth; it does not quantify individual categories' contributions to the consolidated revenue increase.

For January through August, unaudited consolidated revenue totaled NT$6.51 trillion, up 39.73% from the same period in 2025. In a company note, Hon Hai said August revenue expressed in U.S. dollars declined approximately 2.7% month over month and increased approximately 39.4% year over year. The overview did not provide an absolute August U.S.-dollar revenue figure.

The company's third-quarter outlook stated:

> In the third quarter, as AI demand continues to grow, and ICT products also enter the peak season of the second half of the year, operations are expected to gradually gain momentum. Currently, the Company's visibility for the third quarter has improved compared to the previous month, with overall performance expected to outperform market expectations, though it remains necessary to monitor the impact of the volatile global political and economic situation.
