The multi-year growth and margin ambition, FY26 delivered figures restated in the deck, FY27 capital-return and share repurchase figures, inorganic contribution estimate and TAM figure are from Accenture's Oct. 14, 2026 Investor Day financial presentation (Form 8-K Exhibit 99). The Fiscal 2027 Outlook ranges for local-currency revenue growth, operating margin, free cash flow and capital return are from Accenture's Oct. 1, 2026 fourth-quarter and full-year fiscal 2026 results exhibit.
Accenture told investors on Wednesday it wants mid-single digit local-currency revenue growth in fiscal 2027 and 2028, then mid to high-single digits in 2029, while expanding its operating margin by 10 – 30 bps in each of those years — a multi-year path that builds on the fiscal 2027 ranges it published with earnings two weeks ago.
Ambition beyond one fiscal year
Accenture on Wednesday, Oct. 14, put a multi-year frame around the growth and margin path it already sketched for fiscal 2027. In the financial presentation furnished with its Investor Day Form 8-K, the company set a growth ambition of mid-single digit local-currency revenue growth in FY27 and FY28 and mid to high-single digits in FY29, with operating-margin expansion of 10 – 30 bps in each of those three years while it keeps investing organically and through acquisitions.
The same deck restates what Accenture delivered in the fiscal year ended Aug. 31, 2026: revenue of $74.2 billion, up 5% in local currency against original guidance of 2% to 5%; adjusted earnings per share of $13.97 against a $13.52 to $13.90 guide; adjusted operating margin of 15.8%; new bookings of $84.5 billion with a book-to-bill of 1.1; free cash flow of $11.6 billion; and $11.5 billion returned to shareholders, a 38% increase from the prior year.
How that sits next to the October 1 outlook
Those Investor Day ambitions sit on top of the Fiscal 2027 Outlook Accenture published with its fourth-quarter and full-year results on Oct. 1. That outlook called for full-year local-currency revenue growth of 3% to 6%, operating margin of 15.9% to 16.1% — described as 10 – 30 bps expansion over FY26 adjusted operating margin — free cash flow of $11.0 billion to $11.8 billion, and capital return of at least $9.5B.
Wednesday's presentation keeps the "at least $9.5B" capital-return floor for FY27, adds a $5.5B share repurchase figure and 5% dividend-per-share growth with a high-forties payout ratio of prior-year net income, and extends the mid-single-digit growth and 10 – 30 bps margin language into FY28 and FY29. It also says free-cash-flow conversion should stay at or above 1.1 times net income in FY27 and FY28, and 1.2 to 1.3 times in FY29.
Acquisitions and the addressable market
Accenture said inorganic contribution — revenue recognized from acquired businesses on a rolling four-quarter basis after close — is estimated at about 2% to 2.5% for FY27, after roughly 1.5% in FY26. The presentation frames acquisitions as a way to expand into new growth areas, scale in high-growth areas and deepen industry and functional expertise. It also cites an expanded total addressable market of $3 trillion, based on custom research by industry analyst firms under Accenture's own scope definition.
The Investor Day webcast was scheduled for 8:30 a.m. Eastern time on Oct. 14 and is accessible from Accenture's investor-relations site. The Oct. 14 Form 8-K furnishes the financial presentation as Exhibit 99 under Regulation FD; it does not amend the Oct. 1 earnings release.

What is still unknown
Accenture did not publish a single numeric growth percentage for FY28 or FY29 beyond the mid-single-digit / mid to high-single-digits bands. The Investor Day Q&A may add color that is not in the furnished financial presentation. The $3 trillion TAM figure is Accenture's scoped estimate from third-party research.
