Disc Medicine's bitopertin clears all APOLLO endpoints, with 41.4% PPIX reduction vs. placebo
The Phase 3 trial cut phototoxic reactions by 71% versus placebo and added 12.2 hours of pain-free light time in month 6. Disc plans to resubmit its NDA by the end of 2026, with an FDA decision anticipated by mid-2027.
